Bench in Panfield

bench

bench

I found this bench in Panfield (Essex UK) in a park, with a dedication from the family to someone who used to spend the afternoons sitting here.

I liked that combination of tree and and bench. The autumn colours in the background made for a very nice composition, too. The sign on the bench told a whole story. Now, if only they could have given the bench a little paint... :-)

PS Thank you for participating!

The bench looks like it is made from teak. And it will last for ages if it is.

This is a great fall shot. I can feel the coolness in the air. A great capture with the tree the bench, and the leaves all around the bench. I think this works better in the fall with the leaves. The bench draws your eyes to the leaves which draw your eyes to the tree. I'm not sure if that would have happened if the leaves were not there.

Great job!!

Tanta quietude, comparado com o meu desgracado de banco de trabalho... Acho que vou trocar! Ponho um chapeu a frente... E pronto! Just joking...

Meu Deus!Que sequência maravilhosa, parece coisa de cinema:-)

Robert, suas fotos são grandes e baixam rápido no meu computador.Já as minhas demoram uma eternidade, tenho que deixá-las média.Será que é por causa da câmera?

Beijos,beijos

Ouf, that was a beautiful and kind of sad in a way bench. That lady wasn't even 50 years old...

Beautiful anyway.

Hugs from Norway.
